These PETG plates are designed to fit the Hobie Pro Angler 14 Vantage ST Seat and are 100% solid. PTEG is a material that is salt water resistant and has a higher tensile strength than HDPE. The plates are designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade and come with 4 replacement 1/4-20 x 1 stainless steel button head socket cap screws, 1 replacement seat strap bracket, and 2 10-32 x 1 stainless steel button Phillips drive screws.

Please note that while we do as much research and testing as possible, due to inconsistencies on the hulls of various kayaks, this product may not fit your kayak perfectly when it arrives. In the majority of cases, users will be able to drop the plates into place without any modification. However, due to the mentioned inconsistencies, it is possible that a minor amount of reshaping may be needed. This can be done very easily by heating up the back plate just enough to make it malleable, and then simply pressing it into position until it cools.
